The journey started with Udio.com, an AI-powered platform designed for generating custom music samples. I explored its range of capabilities, fine-tuning prompts, quality, and learning it's nuances to find the perfect voice balanced between human warmth and a slightly futuristic edge. The goal was to create a voice that felt like it had its own story to tell—not overly polished, but deeply authentic.
Once AIVA’s vocal foundation was set, the next step was importing the raw samples into Ableton Live. Here, I worked on refining the mix of her voice. By layering harmonics, adjusting EQ, and applying subtle reverb, I enhanced her vocals to give them a sense of depth and presence. I also used automation to add dynamic shifts, ensuring her voice felt alive and emotionally connected to the music.
